Before using for the first time

Clean the appliance as described in the section

care.
Insert the plug into a mains socket.

Fill the water tank (10) with fresh water up to the mark as

described in the section Filling with water.
Rinse the filter insert (4) with clean water and install it into
‹
the appliance as described in the section Filling with coffee
powder.
Put the coffee jug (5) onto the hot plate (6) under the filter
‹
compartment (3).
Switch on the appliance by moving the ON/OFF switch (7) to
‹
"I".
Wait until the all of the water has run through.
‹
Empty the coffee jug (5) and pour out the water.
‹
Clean the coffee jug (5) with warm water and washing-up
‹
liquid.
NOTE
During the initial period of use, odour may be produced by the
►
materials used in the appliance. The odour will diminish after
a short period of time.
