Preparation for use
6.12 Installing the elbow joint
NOTICE
Use of the product with a damaged flat cable
Malfunction due to incorrect or interrupted data transfer.
► Avoid bending or pressing the flat cable multiple times in the same position.
Complete the following steps to install the elbow joint:

1) Push the elbow joint into the flat toothed disc on the
forearm.
INFORMATION: Do not pinch the existing
cables (12K44, 12K50). The cables are exposed
and may be damaged if they do not have cover
caps.
2) Apply Loctite 243 to the two elbow joint mounting
screws and tighten them evenly.
3) 12K44/12K50: Lubricate the wiring connectors
with silicone grease.
4) 12K44/12K50: Reconnect both cables.
5) Extend the arm.
6) Apply Pattex Repair to the brackets.
7) Put the joint cap on the brackets.
INFORMATION: Do not pinch the existing
cables (12K44, 12K50).
