The energy-saving function is not enabled at the following
times:
• While recording video clips;
• While viewing pictures or video clips;
• When the camera is connected to another device with the
USB connector.

6.3. Setting the language, date and time

Before using the camera for the first time, select your preferred
language from the menu and set the current date and time. Both
settings are performed in the "SETTINGS" menu:
