Before you actuate the On/Off switch, make sure
that the saw blade is correctly fitted and that the
machine's moving parts run smoothly.
Before you connect the machine to the power
supply, make sure the data on the rating plate is
the same as that for your mains.

Tabletop and the mounting angles are not mounted
for reasons of packaging technology.
8.1 Installation of the Underframe, Fig. 3+4
Put a wooden block behind the machine, and than
1.
carefully turn over the machine so that the base
plate lies on the floor.
2.
Loosely screw the frame feet with 12 screws (M6
x 12) to the base plate.
3.
Insert the intermediate bottom, and loosely screw
in 8 screws (M6 x 12) to fasten it.
Put the feet caps onto the frame feet.
4.
Screw the mounting plates (1) for the handle (2)
5.
on the bottom of the base plate.
Place the first plate at the outer edge, the second
6.
one at the first frame.
7.
Turn the machine upright again, align it and tight-
en all screws.
8.
Screw the wheel clips (3) on the left side of the
base onto the base feet, and hand-tight the
screws.
Tighten the screws of the wheel clips.
9.
Push the transport handle into the mounting
10.
plates, turn the handle until it is pushed in com-
pletely.
11.
During the transport, pull out the handle only until
the rear screw sits close to the second mounting
plate.
The transport is only admissible on straight, even
12.
surfaces.
Caution! In case of an oblique position of the ma-
13.
chine it may turn over.
8.2 Installation of the tabletop, Fig. 5
1.
Open the housing door (1) by opening the top
door lock (2.1) and unscrewing the bottom door
lock (2.2) anti-clockwise.
Move swivel segment to 0°.
2.
Loosely screw the tabletop.
3.
4 hexagon head cap screws
4 serrated lock washers
Fig. 6
Turn the tabletop into the 0° position, and tighten the
clamping lever (20).
Fig. 7
Align the tabletop as follows:
Put a straight wood border with a length of ap-
1.
proximately 50 cm on the table and put it against
the upward and downward parts of the saw band.
Put a shifting square against the wood border and
2.
the groove edge of the table. Align the table, and
fasten the two front hexagon head cap screws on
the table.

3.
Release the clamping lever of the slewing seg-
ments by means of a quarter turn, and pull the
back segment outwards. Fasten the two back
hexagon head cap screws on the table. Thus, you
achieve a smooth slewability.
Fig. 8
Use the adjusting screw (22) on the rear of the
1.
machine to align the table in a right angle to the
saw band. – Use the shifting square –
Fix the adjusting screw by a locknut, and fasten
2.
the clamping lever (20).
8.3 Installation of the longitudinal stop, Fig. 9+10
Screw-in 4 wing screws with a shim for each screw
1.
approximately 5 mm into the tabletop (Fig. 9).
Insert the guide tube (31) into the table until the
2.
stop, and loosely tighten the wing screws.
3.
Fasten the slewing part of the guide tube with two
M6x12 screws and a lock washer on the table
(Fig. 10).
Tighten the wing nuts.
4.
Put the longitudinal stop on the guide tube at the
5.
left of the saw band, and clamp it. The stop tube
must be parallel to the table groove. A correction
can be performed by releasing the two cylinder
head screws (Fig. 11).
6.
The longitudinal alignment stop can be set in ei-
ther of two different positions. (Figs. 11.1+11.2)
7.
For flat cuts on thin workpieces, use the low
part of the stop (Fig. 11.2) to enable the adjust-
able separating saw blade guard (3) and the saw
blade guide to be lowered as close as possible
towards the workpiece.
8.4 Storing the push rod (Fig. 15)
In order to have the push rod (29) to hand at all
times, hang it on the device (24) intended for this.
8.5 Replacement of the sawing band (Fig. 12+13)
Attention: Pull the mains plug!
Danger! Danger of injury even with sawing band at
standstill. When replacing the sawing blade, wear
gloves.
Only use suitable sawing blades
Move lever A to '+'.
1.
2.
Remove the longitudinal alignment stop and the
guide rail in opposite direction in acc. with 8.3 (in-
stallation of the longitudinal alignment stop)
Open the housing door (1) by unfastening the two
3.
door locks (2).
Release the adjustment knob (9) until the sawing
4.
blade is released.
5.
Remove the sawing blade and lead it through
the slit in the work table,
the sawing band protection at the upper blade
guide,
the sawing band protection at the sawing hous-
ing and the table guides.
Mount a new sawing band. Check the correct po-
6.
sition: The teeth must point to the front side of the
saw (where the doors are).
7.
Align the sawing band to the centre of the rubber
of the band edges.
8.
Tighten the adjustment knob (9) until the band no
longer slides off the edges.
