Commissioning protocol

Commissioning of submersible motor pump, serial No............................................................

1. Switch on the pump with the isolating valve opened slightly
2. Check the direction of rotation for the submersible motor pump and correct if necessary
3. Read the manometer:
Pressure with isolating valve closed:
Pressure with isolating valve completely opened:
4. Determine dimensions H3 and H7 (see page 10):
Depth of operating water level (H3)
Distance between well head bottom and manometer center (H7)
5. Determine the delivery head of the pump (= H3 + H7 + manometer reading, converted to m)
6. If the measured delivery head is lower than the delivery head indicated on the nameplate:
Close the isolating valve somewhat (throttle).
Manometer reading after throttling:
7. Determine the electrical data of the motor, adjust the motor protection according to the motor manual
