Safety Devices

The device has an automatic switch-off function. If the milk container (5) is removed from
the base station (3) during use, the device switches off automatically. If the device is then
to continue to be used, place the milk container back on the base station and switch the
device on again.
Furthermore, the device has built-in overheating protection. If the device gets too hot, it
switches off automatically. Allow the device to cool down for around 5 minutes after every
use before using it again.

Preparation and Operation

NOTES
• Place the base station on a dry, fl at, stable, heat-resistant surface that is resistant
to splashing.
• The surfaces of furniture may possibly contain elements which can attack and
soften the adjustable feet of the device. If necessary, place a suitable pad below
the adjustable feet.
• There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful
effects to your health, clean the device thoroughly before you fi rst use it (see
the "Cleaning and Care" chapter).
