9. Buttons + (increase value) and – (decrease value).
Use these buttons to adjust the specified temperature values in a room or
the timer period.
Temperature range: 17°C ~30°C, with intervals of 1°C.
Range of values for the timer: 0~24 hours.
NOTE
The temperature is displayed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. To select
the desired temperature scale, press and hold both the + and – buttons
for 3 seconds.

MODES
Cooling mode
• Repeatedly press the MODE button until the display shows the cooling
mode indicator.
• Press + or – to set the desired room temperature (temperature range
17°C ~30°C).
• Use the FAN button to set the fan speed.
Heating mode
• Repeatedly press the MODE button until the display shows the heating
mode indicator.
• Press + or – to set the desired room temperature (temperature range
17°C ~30°C).
• Press the FAN button to set the fan speed (for some models the fan speed
in heating mode is not adjustable).

Dry mode
• Repeatedly press the MODE button until the display shows the dry mode
indicator.
• In dry mode the air conditioner operates with the default settings: the
motor operates at low power, and the temperature settings and fan speed
are not regulated.
• For best results, make sure that the doors and windows are closed while
the air conditioner is operating in this mode.
• The duct is not used in dry mode.
Automatic mode
• The operation of the air conditioner in this mode is automatically regu-
lated based on sensor readings of temperature and humidity.
• The air conditioner automatically selects the operating mode (cooling,
heating or fan), depending on the desired temperature in the room.
• In automatic mode, the fan speed settings are not regulated.
Fan mode
• Repeatedly press the MODE button until the display shows the fan mode
indicator.
• Press the FAN button to set the fan speed.
• The room temperature settings are not regulated in fan mode.
• The duct is not used in fan mode.
Sleep mode
To activate sleep mode, press the SLEEP button. The set temperature will
increase (for cooling mode) or decrease (for heating mode) by 1°C for 30 min-
utes. Then, in the next 30 minutes the temperature will gradually increase
(for cooling mode) or decrease (for heating mode) by an additional 1°C, after
which it will be maintained for 7 hours. The air conditioner will then return to
the settings that were specified before sleep mode was activated.
NOTE
Sleep mode is not supported for ventilation and drying.
The FOLLOW ME function (optionally)
This function can only be activated by remote control (see description under
Remote control).
Using the timer
• When the air conditioner is on, you can specify when you want it to turn
off. To do this, press the TIMER button. The display will show TIMER OFF.
• When the air conditioner is off, you can specify when you want it to turn
on. To do this, press the TIMER button. The display will show TIMER ON.
• To adjust the on/off time, press the + or – button. The time period can
be changed in increments of half an hour in the 0-10 hour range, and one
hour in the 10-24 hour range.
• A few seconds after you set the timer, the display will automatically show
the specified temperature.
