ANMERKUNG

nung mit dem Spezialdeckel des Adapters.
Die Luftleitung kann entsprechend den Installationsanforderungen zusam-
mengepresst oder auseinander gezogen werden, für den effizienten Betrieb
der Klimaanlage muss die Länge der Luftleitung so minimal wie möglich
minimal sein.

Congratulations on your purchase of the Sam mobile air conditioner.
The Sam mobile air conditioner is ideal for use in residential and office build-
ings. Besides being easy to install and maintain, it's a real pleasure to use.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the instruction manual before using this appliance.
• The manufacturer is not liable for any injury or damage caused by im-
proper operation of the appliance.
• Use the air conditioner only as specified in strict accordance with the
instruction manual.
• For best results, use the air conditioner in rooms of the recommended
floor area in accordance with the specifications for your air conditioner
model.
• The air conditioner is not intended for use by children or incapacitated
adults without adequate supervision, or by people lacking the necessary
skills to use electrical appliances or who have not read the manual.
• Before plugging in the air conditioner, make sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage for which the appliance has been certified.
• Only plug the air conditioner into a properly grounded power source. After
you install the air conditioner, the plug should be freely accessible.
• Do not change the length of the cord. To avoid overloading the mains, do
not connect the appliance to a power source being used by other power-
hungry electrical appliances.
• To prevent electric shock, do not operate the unit with a damaged cord
or plug.
• If the power cord gets damaged, it must be replaced by a professional
from the service center or a qualified electrician.
• Do not allow moisture to get inside the air conditioner and do not use or
store it outdoors. To avoid electric shock, do not use the air conditioner
in places where there is a risk of contact with water or other liquids. Im-
mediately unplug the air conditioner if it comes into contact with water.
• Do not allow water to come into contact with the remote control. Do not
leave it under direct sunlight or near a heater.
• Never turn the air conditioner upside-down. During transportation, make
sure the air conditioner is in the upright position.
• Place the air conditioner only on a flat, stable surface.
• Always unplug the air conditioner after use and before cleaning or servic-
ing it.
• Do not use an extension cord with the air conditioner.
• Do not place the air conditioner against a wall, furniture, curtains or other
objects. Distance from the air conditioner to other objects must be at
least 30 cm.
• If someone accidentally topples the air conditioner while it is in operation,
immediately turn it off and unplug it.
