Extract the mains plug of the Telephone System and switch off
all devices connected to the System.

Remove the wiring compartment cover. To do this, use the
screwdriver to loosen the screw located at the bottom. Remove
the cover.

The top section of the housing cover must now be removed.
Loosen the two screws and open the top upwards. You will now
see the mainboard with the slots for the expansion modules.
The slots are numbered SLOT1 to SLOT5.

Installation of the module

You must specify the slot number for the expansion module
before the installation. If you wish to use the module for external
operation, you can only take slot 1 and 2, while all slots can be
used for internal operation. However, in order to avoid having to
reconfigure the entire Telephone System in case of future
expansions, you should use slots 3 to 5 for internal operation of
the module.

Remove the expansion module from its anti-static bag. Keep the
anti-static bag in case the module has to be returned. Do not
touch any components and only hold the board at the
edges.

Configure the jumpers on the expansion module for the desired
operating mode. The default setting is internal operation.
