Anleitung_NFF_1200_SPK7:_
Fit the new saw blade. Note the running
direction. The cutting angle of the teeth must
point in running direction, i.e. forwards (see
the arrow on the blade guard). To do this,
guide the saw blade (Fig. 58 / Item 4) through the
saw bench from underneath, place the saw blade
against the back of the rear saw blade guard and
push it forwards and upwards.
Fit the external flange (Fig. 57 / Pos. 55) again.
The two cam flanks must engage in the recesses
in the saw shaft.
Insert the flange screw (Fig. 56 / Item 54) again
and tighten it, holding the saw shaft again with the
second Allen key (Fig. 54).
Important – left-handed thread! Tighten the
flange screw securely.
Insert the rubber stopper (Fig. 53 / Item 53) in the
belt housing again.
Check the saw blade (Fig. 58 / Item 4) and two-
piece saw blade guard to ensure they function
correctly.
If you wish to continue in crosscut and miter saw
mode, fit the chip box again (see also 7.2.1/17).
8.3 Tension / Replace the drive belt (Fig. 60 – 63)
The drive belt transfers the power from the motor to
the saw shaft. If it is possible to move the belt
between the pulleys by more than 5 mm, it must be
tensioned. If the drive belt is worn it must be replaced.
8.3.1 Check the belt tension and condition
Move the saw to the crosscut and miter saw
position (see also 7.2.1). Lock the machine head
in the lower position using the locking pin. (see
7.3.1/7)
Unscrew the plastic cover (Fig. 60+61).
Check the belt tension using finger pressure.
Check the belt for signs of wear.
If the belt tension and condition are OK, fit the
plastic cover again. If this is not the case,
continue as described in 8.3.2.
8.3.2 Tension or replace the drive belt
Loosen the four screws used to secure the motor
approx. one turn using an Allen key (Fig. 62).
The belt is not released and a new belt can be
fitted if necessary.
Move the motor to the right using a screwdriver
until the required belt tension has been achieved.
Hold the motor in this position with the
screwdriver and tighten the four screws
crossways to secure the motor (Fig. 63).
Fit the plastic cover again.

8.4 Adjust the saw
8.4.1 Adjust the stop limit for the saw blade
angle
The saw has adjustable stops for positions 0° and
45°.
To check and adjust:
Set the saw to crosscut and miter saw position
and release the machine head. Adjust the
machine head vertically.
Place a 90° angle between the saw bench (2) and
the left-hand side of the saw blade (4) (Fig. 64).
Ensure that the angle is tightly against the saw
blade and is not touching any cutting plates on
the saw blade.
Check whether the angle is precisely 90°. If this is
not the case, undo the lock nut (Fig. 65 / Item 57)
and adjust the stop screw (Fig. 65 / Item 58).
Then tighten the lock nut again. The stop for 45°
can be adjusted in the same way using an
appropriate stop angle. Use the lock nut (Fig. 65 /
Item 59) and the stop screw (Fig. 65 / Item 60) for
this purpose.
8.4.2 Move the saw blade and machine head
parallel
The saw blade can be moved in the direction of its
axis. It must be precisely in the center of the saw slot.
Move the saw into the crosscut and miter saw
position, release the machine head and position it
vertically (see 7.2.1).
Undo the lock nut (Fig. 66 / Pos. 61). Move the
machine head by turning the setting nut (Fig. 66 /
Pos. 62).
When the saw blade is precisely in the center of
the saw slot, tighten the lock nut (Fig. 66 / Pos.
61) again. To do this, hold the tilt shaft using an
Allen key.
8.4.3 Set the locking points for the turntable
Move the saw into the crosscut and miter saw
position (see also 7.2.1), lock the machine head
in its bottom position (see also 7.3.1/7).
Move the turntable to the 0° position (see
7.2.3/B).
Check the 0° locking position of the turntable by
placing a right-angle between the stop rail and
the saw blade (Fig. 67).
If it requires adjustment, undo the lock nut (Fig.
68 / Item 63). Turn the adjusting screw (Fig. 68 /
Item 64) until the angle is correct.
Tighten the lock nut (Fig. 68 / Item 63) again.
