4. Prepare the Wall Rail
IMPORTANT! Do not overtighten the screws. Damage may occur.
Secure the end caps to the wall rail using two #6 x 3/8" screws (provided).
Confirm proper fit. Confirm that the knee wall and the step in the wall rail fit together.
NOTE: If a backer board was used (refer to rough-in for details), use all three fasteners (not provided) and
space them evenly.
Mark the location of the center of each stud on the wall rail with a pencil.
Remove the wall rail.
NOTE: It is recommended that the fasteners be countersunk to improve the fit and finish of the tile
overlay.
The fasteners are not provided. Determine what type of fasteners you will use. Flathead galvanized
or stainless steel screws are recommended.
Firmly secure the wall rail on a workbench or other suitable surface.
Drill an appropriately sized (countersunk) hole at each mark.
