5.4.2 Lifting station with one single-phase pump (with control panel)
In this case the single-phase pump comes with a motor protector and power cord with plug, but is not
equipped with a control float. On pumps with 1.1 kW rated output, the external condenser holder is
equipped with a switch located near the plug.
The lifting station comes complete with a Lowara control panel that enables pump control through an
electromechanical control float. If you require a high level alarm (warning that the liquid level inside the
basin is too high), you have to install an additional float switch and an audible or visual alarm.

operate the pumps, insert the plug in the power outlet. On pumps with 1.1 kW rated output, the external

5.5 Float switch selection
Depending on the type of installation, the nature of the liquid and the national/local codes and regula-
tions, you can select between float switches with electromechanical control and those with multiple con-
tacts.
Make sure that the characteristics of the float switch match those of the control panel.
Improper combination may cause malfunctions.
Always refer to the codes, regulations and standards locally in force.
