• Suitable for indoor (basements, cellars, etc.) or outdoor installation (above ground or under-
ground).
• Voltage and frequency of power supply mains must be compatible with pump rating.
(Normally, the power supply for single-phase pumps is 230 V ± 10% 50 Hz, for three-phase
pumps 400 V ± 10% 50 Hz. In any case, refer to the rating plate attached to the pump)
• Maximum number of starts per hour, evenly distributed : read the operating instructions for the
electric pumps
4.1 Lifting stations with electric panel and/or pumps featuring external condenser holder
(additional requirements to those listed above):
• Ambient temperature : +0°C to +40°C
• Maximum relative humidity : 50 % to + 40°C provided no condensation occurs
• Maximum height above sea level : 1000 meters
• Protection class : read the electric panel specifications

Inside the motor of some electric pumps there is non-toxic oil used to facilitate motor cooling. Any
leaks through the mechanical seal can pollute the pumped liquid.

5. Installation

The installation operations must be carried out by skilled and qualified personnel.
Use adequate equipment and protections. Observe the accident prevention regulations in force.
Lift and handle the product carefully, using suitable hoisting equipment.
Before proceeding with the installation, read these operating instructions and the manual for the
electric pump.
