The unit is assembled vertically
with the flange on the silo. The
sensor weight must not enter the
socket, to avoid wear on the rope.
The position for assembly must
be chosen carefully:
- Lumps of material may drop
and damage the sensor weight
or the rope. Observe the cor-
rect distance from the wall of
the silo.
- During filling of the silo the sen-
sor weight might be buried by
the material (do not carry out
measurements during filling, or
observe the correct filling dis-
tance).
- Do not obstruct the upward or
downward movement of the
sensor weight, even if the sen-
sor weight oscillates; observe
the correct distance from the
uprights and built-in fittings.
The electrical connections must
be carried out in conformity with
the connection diagram. Make
sure that the cable is positioned
securely in the screwed cable
gland.
- Close both lids of the housing,
to prevent entrance of water
into the housing.
- When the unit is used in the
open it is advisable to use the
weather protection cover to pro-
tect the unit from humidity, heat
and cold.
- In the case of temperatures low-
er than 0°C, or if there is con-
densation inside the housing,
the installation of a heating
system is recommended (avail-
able on request).

MONTAGE
Das Gerät wird mit dem Flansch
senkrecht auf dem Behälter befe-
stigt. Das Abtastgewicht darf in
einen evtl. vorhandenen Stutzen
nicht hineinfahren.
Die Einbaustelle muß so gewählt
sein, daß
- herabfallende Wächten das
Fühlgewicht oder Mess-Seil/-
band nicht beschädigen kön-
nen (Abstand zur Behälter
wand einhalten).
- das Befüllen des Behälters
nicht zum Verschütten des Fühl-
gewichtes führt (Messvorgän-
ge während des Befüllens aus-
chließen oder ausreichend
Abstand zur Einfüllstelle hal-
ten).
- Die Bewegung des Abtastge-
wichts nach oben und unten
darf nicht behindert werden,
auch wenn das Abtastgewicht
pendelt. Den korrekten Abstand
von den Pfosten und den ein-
gebauten Zubehörteilen ein-
halten.
Die elektrischen Anschlüsse wer-
den gemäß dem Anschlussplan
an den Klemmen vorgenommen.
Auf dichten Sitz der Leitungen in
den Kabelverschraubungen ist
unbedingt zu achten.
- Die beiden Gehäusedeckel
müssen stets dicht verschlossen
sein, um Wassereintritt zu ver-
meiden.
- Beim Einsatz im Freien ist die
Wetterschutzhaube empfeh-
lenswert. Sie schützt vor Nässe,
Hitze und Kälte.
- Sind Temperaturen unter 0°C
oder Kondensatbildung im Ge-
häuseinneren zu erwarten, wird
eine Geräteheizung dringend
empfohlen.

MONTAGE
L'appareil est fixé verticalement
sur le réservoir avec la bride. La
sonde ne doit pas entrer dans une
tubulure existante.
L'emplacement doit être choisi
de telle sorte que
- des amas tombant des parois
ne puissent endommager la
sonde ou le câble de mesure
(maintenir une distance cor-
recte par rapport à la paroi du
silo).
- le remplissage du silo ne pro-
voque pas un recouvrement de
la sonde (ne pas réaliser de
mesure pendant le remplissa-
ge, ou maintenir une distance
suffisante à l'ouverture de rem-
plissage).
- le mouvement en haut et en
bas de la sonde ne soit pas
gêné, même si la sonde oscille
; respecter la distance correcte
des montants et des accessoi-
res incorporés.
Les branchements électriques
sont à effectuer aux bornes, con-
formément au schéma de con-
nexion. Il faut impérativement
veiller à l'ajustement ferme des
câbles dans les presses étoupe.
- Les deux capots du boîtier doit
toujours être fermés herméti-
quement, pour éviter toute in-
filtration d'eau.
- Pour l'emploi en plein air, nous
recommandons d'utiliser le ca-
pot intempéries. Il protège l'ap-
pareil contre l'humidité, la cha-
leur et le froid.
- Si des températures inférieu-
res à 0°C ou de la condensa-
tion à l'intérieur du boîtier sont
à prévoir, il faut installer un
chauffage de l'appareil.

MONTAGGIO
Il gruppo è installato vertical-
mente con la flangia sul silo. La
sonda non deve entrare nel ma-
nicotto per non usurare la fune.
Si deve scegliere con attenzione
la posizione di montaggio:
- l'eventuale caduta di accumu-
li di materiale potrebbe dan-
neggiare la sonda o la fune.
Rispettare la distanza corretta
dalla parete del silo.
-
durante il riempimento del
silo si potrebbe coprire con
materiale la sonda (non proce-
dere alla misurazione durante
il riempimento o osservare la
corretta distanza di riempimen-
to)
- non ostacolare il movimento
in alto o in basso della sonda,
anche se la sonda oscilla; os-
servare la distanza corretta dai
montanti e dagli accessori in-
corporati.
I collegamenti elettrici devono
essere conformi allo schema elet-
trico. Controllare che il cavo sia
posizionato a tenuta nel passa-
cavo a vite.
- Chiudere entrambi i coperchi
della scatola per non fare en-
trare acqua nella scatola.
- Quando si usa il gruppo al-
l'aperto, si raccomanda di usa-
re la copertura di protezione
dall'acqua per proteggere il
gruppo da umidità, caldo e fred-
do.
- In caso di temperature inferiori
a 0°C o di presenza di acqua di
condensa all'interno della sca-
tola, si raccomanda di installa-
re un sistema di riscaldamento
(a richiesta).
