TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
Jet Tips and Tongue Cleaner
Leakage between the tip and handle knob.
Pik Pocket® Tip
Tear in soft tip.
Dental Water Jet Base
Hose to the handle leaks.
Reservoir leaks.
Inadequate pressure.
Unit doesn't start.
CAUSE
Tip not fully engaged.
Tip is worn.
Damage to the hose.
Missing reservoir valve or reservoir valve is
upside down.
Reservoir not positioned properly.
Motor not running.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remove tip and reinstall.
Replace with new tip.
Can be replaced by authorized service center or
contact Waterpik Technologies Customer Service
Center for a self service repair kit.
Replace reservoir valve. (Call Waterpik
Technologies Customer Service Center).
Turn valve right-side up.
Re-position reservoir. Press down firmly on the
reservoir.
Be sure outlet is functioning; test with another
appliance (check electrical reset button and/or
wall switch).
