When the FreeMIDI Preferences dialog box appears, click [Cancel].

When the About Quick Setup dialog box appears, click [Cancel].

From the File menu, choose Open.

Select UA-700 USB from the Settings folder you copied in step 3, and click
[Open].

Verify that MIDI transmission and reception occur correctly.

From the MIDI menu, choose Check Connections.

The mouse cursor will change to
the shape of a keyboard. Click on
the icon of each port in the
diagram at right.
If sound is heard from the sound
module connected to the UA-700,
the settings are correct.

Once again choose the MIDI menu command Check Connections to end
the test.

From the File menu, choose Quit to exit FreeMIDI Setup.
This completes connections for the UA-700 and Macintosh, and installation
of the MIDI driver.
Next you will install the ASIO driver.
