15.2.6. Deleting all messages via the handset
NOTE!
You can only delete messages that you have already played back
("Old Messages").
You can delete messages via the menu without them having just been
played back.
 Open the ANS. MACHINE menu.
 Select DELETE ALL and confirm with OK.
 Press OK to confirm again.
The messages are deleted.

15.3. Memos

You can record a memo yourself using the handset to e.g. provide yourself
with a reminder.
15.3.1. Recording memos
 Open the ANS. MACHINE menu.
 Select MEMO and confirm with OK.
 A signal tone will sound and the recording begins.
Speak into the handset at normal speaking volume.
 Once you have recorded your voice memo, press the OK key to save the
memo.
 To stop the recording, press the C key.
Your memo will now be played back.
15.3.2. Managing memos
Once a memo has been recorded, the
handset will flash, just like when a message has been received on the
answering machine, and the number of unread messages will flash on the
display of the base station.
 You can play back the memo by pressing the / key.
 You can delete the memo during playback by pressing the X (delete) key.

15.4. Greeting messages

In the factory settings, two recorded greeting messages are activated:
• A greeting message for when the answering machine is switched on:
(ANS & REC: the caller can then leave a message on the answering
machine);
• A greeting message for when the answering machine is switched off
(ANSWER ONLY: the caller is requested to call again).
