Attention: only use the batteries for their intended purpose. Never use
damaged batteries and battery chargers.
Note: the battery can be discharged and charged many times without
affecting its performance, but with extended use it will eventually begin
to function less efficiently. When continuous conversation times are
significantly shorter than normal the battery must be replaced.
Information about system standby and talk times
When the battery is fully charged the system has an operational time of
about 10 hours of continuous conversation. When about 1 hour of battery
time remains, the CABERG JUST SPEAK system emits three consecutive
tones at 5 minute intervals. The LED also flashed red, and if the system isn't
used for about 30 minutes it turns off automatically. If the device hasn't been
used for a long time, the battery must be charged before use. Switch off the
CABERG JUST SPEAK system before charging the battery. Battery power
is significantly reduced at temperatures below freezing.
Charging the battery
Connect the USB cable and charge the battery by using the AC/DC adaptor
provided or by connecting it to a USB port on a Personal Computer. The green
LED indicates that the power is on; the red LED indicates that the battery is
charging. When the battery has been fully charged, the red LED switches off, while
the green LED remains on. Fully charging a new battery takes about 2-3 hours.
Attention: do not use the AC/DC adaptor to charge other USB devices.
If they are not provided with internal protection, they could be damaged.
Information about battery disposal.
Do not try to burn the battery, as it could explode. Batteries may explode if
damaged. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Recycle them
when possible. Do not dispose of batteries in domestic waste.
