The Recent Events screen shows a short summary of the most recent
events that the BS1000 has recorded. The results of the executed rule

actions are indicated in lines per sensor. In addition to the executed rule
actions, other events such as access to web pages and DHCP actions are
recorded.
BS1000 device logging codes
The BS1000 reports the results of its actions in the recent event log (see
admin pages of the BS1000 webserver). Depending on the action, codes
have a different meaning, as shown in the table below. Result codes from
remote servers (SMTP, HTTP) are shown in the recent event log, if a con-
nection was made.
Common failures for connection are:
Code 1: The address of the remote server could not be resolved (check url).
Code 8: Usually a firewall is blocking access to the remote server.
