3.3 Setting the extension to the CP system
Extending the valve terminal
If no CP extension is connected, switch
element 1 must be set to OFF.
Modifying the CP configuration (connecting
or disconnecting CP modules):
1. Switch off all power supplies
(voltage, compressed air).
2. Connect the CP modules
(or disconnect them).
3. Switch DIL1 to ON.
4. Switch the operating voltage
(for the electronics) on again.
The internal logic will now search for
connected CP modules.
If modifications to the CP configuration are
recognized, the LED SF will flash.
5. Set DIL1 at first to OFF and then to ON
again.
The CP system is now configured and ready to
run (LED SF is out).
If modifications have been made to the CP extension:
6. Start the recognition procedure again (points 1 ... 5).
