23. Option steam function
Use the special steam lance when you work with steam (see picture)! Make sure that the steam valve is set to
'steam function' and the throttle lever is also put into position 'steam function' when you work with steam!
Steam valve
The 'steam control' function is a function that allows to control pollution (weed) using a hot water principle.
This valve is located below the control panel against the frame.
Valve vertical: pressure washing activated.
Valve horizontal: 'steam control' function activated.
Mount the steam lances on the screw coupling and snap into the holder (see picture left).
Please pay attention for the hot surface of the swivel connection from the reel at operating the valve.
Do not touch!
24. Option booster pump
The booster pump is used for pumping the water from the external tank to the JMB-M water tank.
There is a float protection in the water tank thus to prevent that the booster pump continues to pump water (over-
flow protection) from the external tank to the JMB-M water tank.
The booster pump can run dry without any damage.
It will, however, reduce unnecessary battery power. The booster pump can be switched on/off through the turning
switch on the operating panel (see photo). See also added manual of the booster pump.
The booster pump can work approx. 15 minutes after the engine has been stopped.
Use the pump only with clear water! The overflow protection of the water tank ensures that the pump will stop
automatically when the tank is filled with water.
25. Option high pressure valve
The high pressure valve is located below the control panel at the left high pressure hose reel and with it, you can
close the water supply of the left spray equipment or by using both reels. Pay attention: use the correct spray
equipment! Steam lance 400 mm for single reel use, steam lance 200 mm for double reel use.
Note: the high pressure valve is not mounted when you choose a low pressure hose/reel & high pressure hose/
reel.
