This work must be performed according to the
KALEA GM FR assembly instructions.
These instructions are available from qualified staff.
The installation of an appliance or group of appliances
and the external unit must be performed by qualified
staff in consultation with the operator.
The operator must provide the following infrastructure
in fully operational state before delivery and installa-
tion of the appliances and bears the responsibility for
these systems and interfaces to be connected:
– Power supply
– Wastewater drainage - defrosting water drain con-
nection
– Overall market control
– DFU access for remote maintenance (optional)
Technical data for interfaces [see } Chapter 3.2].
Technical modifications to the appliance only in agree-
ment and after approval of the manufacturer.

Communication interface

The appliance features a communication interface
(bus connection). This interface can be used to con-
nect the appliance to a monitoring system.
Several appliances can be interconnected via the
communication interface. Depending on the appliance
type and configuration, it may be necessary to inter-
connect several appliances.
NOTICE
Material and property damage due to faulty
communication between appliances and with
the monitoring system.
§ Never break an existing bus connection.
The signal to activate daytime/night-time operation is
transmitted to the appliance via the communication in-
terface.
Do not cover the temperature display, safety notes, or
the rating plate [see } Chapter 3.2.1].
WARNING
Appliance tipping hazard.
Persons may become trapped.
§ Remove the transport frames only when in
the stable and final installation position.
§ Observe the separate assembly instruc-
tions.
§ In the event of questions, contact the
maintenance service [see } Chapter 12.5].

shelves or mesh baskets.
Risk of injury due to falling of the display
shelves holding goods or the mesh baskets.
§ The brackets for display shelves must
snap completely into the openings
provided when being attached.
§ The brackets for mesh baskets must snap
completely into the openings provided
when being attached.
§ Note installation of the display shelves or
mesh baskets [see } Chapter 8].
NOTICE
Material damage due to deformation of the
display shelves or mesh baskets.
§ Align the brackets in parallel.
§ Align the display shelves horizontally.
§ Align the mesh baskets horizontally.
§ Insert the display shelves at the same height.
§ Insert the mesh baskets at the same height.
§ Install the appliance rear panel correctly with dis-
play shelves.
§ The appliance side panel and side display shelf
must be present.

a) Attach the brackets for the display shelves to the
openings in the rear panel.
