This method of alternating current welding is used to weld aluminium and its thick alloys. It mixes DC periods whist welding in order to increase the
energy flow to the workpiece. The final goal is to accelerate the work advance and therefore productivity on aluminium assemblies. This mode pro-
duces less pickling so it is necessary to work on clean sheets.
