When measuring oxygen in the presence of helium, helium
compensation can be used. The option of helium
compensation is no certified measuring function according to
EN 50104.
CAUTION
Sensor failure
The exposure to higher concentrations of unsaturated
hydrocarbons, alcohols or hydrogen over an extended period
of time (dose approx. 100,000 ppm x hours) could cause the
sensor to fail.
► Ensure that the sensor is not exposed to such
concentrations over an extended period of time.
