Keep the pedal pressed down and release
the parking brake. Slowly release the pedal to
shift from «brake» to «clutch», thus operating

5.4.5 Grass cutting

Adjust the position of the anti-scalp wheels (1- if
provided) whose function is to reduce the risk of
tearing up sections of lawn, which occurs when
the edge of the cutting deck drags over irregular
ground.

The three front wheel assembly positions allow
you to maintain a safe distance «A» between the
cutting deck edge and the ground.
To change position, unscrew the nut (2) and ex-
tract the pin (3).

Reposition the wheel (1) to the desired position,
then reassemble the pin (3), making sure the pin
(3) head is facing toward the inside of the ma-
chine; then tighten the nut completely.
