C. THE HELMET

OPENING AND CLOSING

1. To close the chin strap, push the ratchet strap
bit by bit into the clasp until the chin strap is snug
against the chin.
2. To open the chin strap, pull up the red band on the
ratchet clasp to open the closure – then pull the
ratchet strap out of the clasp.
Warning:
When adjusting the chin strap, be sure that it is snug against the chin but not
irritatingly so. The chin strap is properly closed if it does not have any play when
tugged on and the helmet cannot be pulled forward off the head.
Warning:
When riding, the chin strap must be properly closed and correctly configured, as
otherwise it can come off the head in an accident.
Warning:
The chin strap must not ever be opened while still driving.

7. VISOR

TURBULATORS
The upper part of the face shield features our
patented turbulators to optimise the aeroacoustic
performance when driving with the face shield up.
They prevent disruptive acoustic noises, specifically
whistling tones produced by smooth and straight
edges.
