C. THE HELMET
Installing the Visor Pane
1. Using both hands, move the latching pins for the
visor into the corresponding cut-outs in the visor
mechanism.
2. The visor should click in audibly by applying pressure
toward the helmet and moving the visor in the ‚close'
direction.
3. Close the visor by moving it into the lower stop position.
4. Open the visor once completely to check the
function of the visor mechanism.
Warning:
Prior to each ride, check the visor for proper functionality and any mechanical
damage, and ensure that the view through the visor is acceptable. A strongly
scratched, dulled and/or soiled visor restricts the view and should for safety reasons
be replaced or cleaned or soiling prior to starting on the ride.
Warning:
Cleaning agents and fuel vapours can cause cracks in the visor. The visor should
never be exposed to these types of vapours! For this reason the helmet should never
be placed near the motorcycle's tank aeration vent.
Warning:
Never use a tinted visor when riding in poor visibility conditions, at night or when
passing through tunnels.

8. SUN VISOR

The sun visor offers protection during the ride against light stone strikes and insects,
whether the visor is raised or lowered. It also offers effective protection against hazardous
UV rays*.
* Tested and approved based on EN 12312-1 Lens Category 3
OPENING AND CLOSING
The sun visor is opened and closed using the slider placed to the left of the chin area,
and can be operated independent of the visor position.
1. Pushing the slider toward the rear lowers the sun
visor into the down position.
2. Moving the slider forward retracts the sun visor
back into the helmet's inner shell and clicks it into
the stop position.
Note:
The sun visor may only be repositioned using the slider.
Warning:
Never use a tinted sun visor when riding in poor visibility conditions, at night or when
passing through tunnels.
Warning:
Riding without a visor, or with the visor up, can cause damage to the eyes and face
due to stones, dust, insects or flying pieces. Lowering the sun visor offers a certain
degree of protection against stone strikes and insects, but cannot prevent all dangers.
Warning:
Prior to each ride, check the sun visor for proper functionality and any mechanical
damage, and ensure that the view through the sun visor is acceptable. A strongly
scratched, dulled and/or soiled sun visor restricts the view significantly and should for
safety reasons be replaced or cleaned or soiling prior to starting on the ride.
