5. Associating your appliance
with other X2D devices
5.1 Associating the appliance with a PLC unit
Your appliance can be controlled remotely by a PLC (Powerline Carrier) program-
ming base unit using the X2D protocol (not supplied).
To enable this, you need to:
_ install and connect your appliance (section 1)
_ associate your appliance with the room thermostat (section 4.6)
_ associate your appliance with the PLC unit (not supplied)
To do this, place your programming base unit into association mode (see the
instructions supplied with the unit).
Access advanced settings menu CF05 on the room thermostat (see section 4.5).
Set the value to 1 (cycle mode disabled).
The PLC light on the appliance receiver will blink.
Then press the
EN
ting that the PLC unit association signal has been received.
Your radiator(s) is (are) now associated with your base unit.
The TH light is glowing steadily (the radiator is associated
with the thermostat) and the PLC light is blinking,
showing that it is awaiting association with the PLC unit
