Damage due to contaminated compressed air
Use of contaminated compressed air can lead to
malfunctions.
→ Use clean compressed air. For example, through SATA filter 100
(# 148247) outside the spray booth or SATA filter 484 (# 92320) inside
the spray booth.
Before using observe/check the following points / to ensure safe operation
of the paint spray gun:
■ All screws [2-1], [2-2], [2-3], [2-4] and [2-5] are securely attached.
Tighten screws, if necessary.
■ Paint nozzle [2-2] tightened with a tightening torque of 14 Nm [7-5].
■ Locking screw [10-1] tightened.
■ Technically clean compressed air used.

8.1. Initial Operation

■ Purge compressed-air line thoroughly prior to assembly.
■ Flush paint passage with suitable cleaning agent [2-6].
■ Screw connecting nipple [2-10] onto air connection [1-8].
■ Adjust air nozzle.
Horizontal spray [2-8]
Vertical spray [2-7]
■ Attach paint strainer [2-12] and gravity flow cup [2-13].
8.2. Normal Operation

■ Connect the compressed air hose [2-11].
Adding material
Information!
When painting use only the quantity of material required for the work
step.
Maintain the necessary spray distance when painting. Store or dispose
of the material properly after painting.
■ Remove screw-on lid [2-14] of gravity flow cup [2-13].
■ Press anti-drip device [2-9] into screw-on lid.
■ Fill gravity flow cup (max. 20 mm below upper rim).
■ Screw screw-on lid onto gravity flow cup.
