In order to lubricate the saw chain sufficiently, there must be enough saw chain oil in the tank at all
times. The oil level can be checked in the viewing glass. The oil level may not be below or above
"MIN" or "MAX".
f- Saw chain lubrication
To avoid premature wear of the tool, the chain and the guide bar must be lubricated homogeneously
throughout the operation.
The lubrication is automatic.
Never use the chainsaw if the chain is not lubricated. If the chain is dry, the entire cutting device
may become damaged.
It is therefore essential to check both the lubrication of the chain and the oil level before each use.
Never use the chainsaw when the oil level is below the level marked "Min."
- Minimum - If the oil level is only about 5mm above the bottom edge of the gauge, add oil.
- Maximum - Add oil until the tank is filled to the level marked "Max.".
5.3.2- Hedge Trimmer
- In addition to its trimming function, the tool can be used to cut small brushes or trim small bushes.
- The trimming cut will be improved if an angle of 5°, between the hedge and the blade, is kept
during the operation. (ill.2)
- Both sides of the cutting blades allow to trim both ways: from right to left or left to right (ill.3).
- To achieve a regular trim, we recommend you to limit the side of the hedge with a wire or line.
Only the branches higher than the top of the wire or line should be cut. (ill.4)
- The sides of a hedge should be trimmed from bottom to top. (ill.5)
Important :
- Large branches should be cut with shears.
- In case the blades get blocked, stop and unplug the hedge trimmer. Then, remove the blockage.
5.3.3- Brush cutter / grass trimmer
a) Cutting with a metal blade
The 3-tooth metal blade provided with the machine is intended for cutting brushes and weeds.
Do NOT use saw blade with this machine.
WARNING! 1. Do not use a brush cutter for cutting trees
2. Do not cut with dull, cracked or damaged metal blade.
3. Before cutting, inspect working area for obstructions (such as boulders, metal
stakes or strands of wire from broken fences) and remove them. If an obstruction
cannot be removed, mark its location so that you can avoid it with the blade.
Rocks and metal will dull or damage the blade.
Wires can catch on the blade head and flap around or be thrown into the air.
4. Use the shoulder harness at all times! Harness the unit on the right side of your
body. Adjust the harness so that the unit hangs a few inches above ground level.
