CHANGING THE MOTOR PISTON (with pressure off)
Model DI 520
- Turn off the water supply and allow the pressure to drop to zero.
- Remove the plastic washer (Fig. 30-R). Unscrew the adjusting sleeve (Fig.
30-G) until the key (Fig. 30-V), appears and remove it.
- Pull down on the injection assembly (Fig. 30-D) to release it.
- In order to acceed to the screw (Fig. 31-H) wich is fixing the plunger on its
rod (Fig. 31-P), unscrew the threaded nut 1/2" (Fig. 31-F) supporting the
inner seal (Fig. 31-J) of plunger and ball (Fig. 31-B). Remove the screw using
a 6 mm Allen wrench and pull down on the plunger to remove it.
- Remove the sleeve (Fig. 31-M) by unscrewing it (Fig. 32).
- Unscrew and remove bell-housing by hand (Fig. 33).
- Remove the motor piston (Fig. 34-O) by pulling it up.
- Reassemble the DOSATRON in the reverse order to the above.
- Refit the bell-housing and tighten by hand.

- Turn off the water supply and allow the pressure to drop to zero.
- Take off the suction tube of product (Fig. 35).
- Unscrew the retaining ring (Fig. 36).
- Pull downwards to remove the injection assembly (Fig. 37).
- Unscrew and remove the bell-housing by hand (Fig. 38).
- Remove the motor piston (Fig. 39) by pulling it up.
- Rod and plunger piston are fixed to the motor piston and taken out
simultaneously.
- Change and reassemble in the reverse order to the above.
- Refit the bell-housing (take care not to damage its seal) and tighten by hand.
- Fit in the injection assembly.
