CLEANING AND RE-ASSEMBLING THE SUCTION VALVE SEAL

Models DI 1500, DI 05, DI 2, DI

- Turn off the water supply and allow
the pressure to drop to zero.
- Unscrew the nut (Fig. 22-E) and
pull downwards to remove the suc-
tion tube (Fig. 23-T).
- Unscrew and take off the suction
valve retaining nut (Fig. 23-N), pull
out the valve assembly, dismantle
the valve and thoroughly rinse the
separate components in clean water.
- Put the valve components in the
order shown in the diagram (Fig.
24).
- Re-assemble the components in the
reverse order to the dismantling pro-
cess.
Models DI 150, DI 110
- Turn off the water supply and allow
the pressure to drop to zero.
- Unscrew and take off the check
valve assembly screw (Fig. 25).
- Take off the suction valve retaining
nut (Fig. 25), take it apart and rinse
its parts thoroughly. Put them back
together following the drawings
shown (Fig. 26).
- Reassemble in the reverse order to
the above by hand.

Model DI 520
- Turn off the water supply and allow the pressure to drop to zero.
- Unscrew, with a screwdriver, the tube clamp (Fig. 27-L) and pull down-
wards to remove the suction valve assembly.
- Unscrew and remove the suction valve retaining nut (Fig. 28-S).
- Remove the suction valve (Fig. 28-P), separate it, rinse them copiously
with clean water. Then put them in the order shown (Fig. 29).
- Re-assemble in the reverse order to the above by hand.
