E. After-sales and troubleshooting

Wear and tear

The different heavy wear elements are standard elements. Always
replace worn parts and/or parts to be changed with identical
components sold commercially or from your retailer.

Basic troubleshooting

Do not attempt to access or repair an electrical component yourself.
Contact the specialist closest to you for maintenance carried out by a
qualified person.
The information below is for explanatory purposes and is not intended
to assist the user in repairs. Any such troubleshooting procedure must
be carried out by a qualified professional, aware of the safety issues
and familiar with electrical maintenance.
Description of the issue
After switching the battery
on, the engine does not
provide pedal assistance.

Possible causes
1)
the
engine
(waterproof connection joint)
is loose,
2) the brake lever is not
correctly returned to the
normal position, which forces
the switch off,
3) the battery fuse is blown,
4) the speed sensor is too far
away.
5) the connection between
the sensor and the controller
is not established or has a
faulty contact.

First, check that the battery is
charged. If not, charge it,
then :
1) check that the connection
is well established, without
any give,
2) carefully return the brake
lever to its normal position
without braking,
3) open the top of the battery
pack and check the condition
of the fuse. If it is blown,
contact your retailer or an
authorised professional for a
replacement,
4)
adjust
between the sensor and the
magnetic tape so that it is not
more than 3 mm,
5)
make
sure
controller and the sensor are
connected properly.
