2. Adjusting the seat and the handlebars

It is important to adjust your bicycle according to your morphology.
i. Seat
Loosen the nut of the seat post clamp in order to be able to change the seat post's height in the frame.
Choose a height and re-tighten the nut of the seat post clamp.
Likewise, make sure you do not exceed the minimum insertion mark of the seat tube. This insertion mark
should never be visible when using the bicycle. A child seat can be installed on your bicycle if the seat springs
are protected.
To check the seat's correct height, you should be sitting with straight legs and your heel on the pedal
(illustration A). When pedalling, the knee should be lightly bent with the foot pointing down (illustration B).
WARNING: It is important to protect the seat springs if installing a child seat in order to
avoid the risk of getting your fingers caught.
ii. Handlebars
The handlebars of your bike can be adjusted in height.
The adjustment of a so-called "plunger" stem is done by modifying the insertion of the stem in the pivot
tube of the frame. To adjust the handlebar height, loosen the clamping screw with a 6 mm hex wrench and
raise or lower the stem to the desired height.
Be careful not to exceed the minimum insertion mark. This insertion mark should never be visible when
using the bicycle. Tighten the plunger screw making sure the stem is in the correct position.
