Step 2 – Retract the ISOFIX connectors
[MINI_I-SIZE_031] Press the left-hand button on the
ISOFIX length adjuster as far in as possible. The
button is positioned on the inner side of the TAKATA
I-SIZE BASE. At the same time, push the left-hand
connector back into the TAKATA I-SIZE BASE.
The two ISOFIX connectors must be adjusted
independently. Repeat Step 2 for the right-hand
connector.
NOTE!
The connectors have been fully retracted when all
¿JXUHV IURP  WR  DUH GLVSOD\HG RQ WKH WRS RI WKH
ISOFIX connectors.
Step 3 – Fold in the support leg and remove it
[MINI_I-SIZE_027 + MINI_I-SIZE_028] Fold the
support leg in, as described in Section 3 – Basic
instructions (Adjusting the support leg). You should
now be able to remove the TAKATA I-SIZE BASE
from your vehicle.
Securing the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE via the
vehicle's 3-point-belt on the vehicle seat (optional)
Step 1 – Prepare the seat
[MINI_I-SIZE_051] To install the TAKATA MINI
I-SIZE in the vehicle, the carry handle must be set
upright in the carry position.
Step 2 – Place it in the vehicle
[MINI_I-SIZE_051] Place the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE
on the vehicle seat.
CAUTION!
The TAKATA MINI I-SIZE must be placed in a back-
wards-facing position.
