Step 3 – Open the buckle
[MINI_I-SIZE_025] To open the buckle, press the red
button on it, and remove the tongues.
The two tongues can be easily separated by pulling
them apart.
Securing the sunshade
The TAKATA MINI I-SIZE is supplied with a sunshade
that you can attach to the seat and extend or retract as
necessary.
Step 1 – Attaching the sunshade
[MINI_I-SIZE_026] Attach the four push buttons on
the side of the sunshade to the six buttons on the side
of the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE cover (three on each
side, of which one is the pivot point and the other two

Pull the rear of the sunshade over the upper end of the

behind the upper rim of the seat shell. The sunshade is
now attached in its extended position.
Step 2 – Adjusting the sun shade
To retract the sunshade, or extend it again, you have to
open the two small push buttons on the side (used to
secure the shade in an extended position). You can then
slide the front of the sunshade in, or when in a
retracted position, pull it back out again. The two larger
buttons on the side act as a pivots for the shade.
Removing the sunshade
The sunshade is secured to the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE
via push buttons. To remove it, you must open all of
the push buttons that connect the sunshade to the cover.
You can then lift off the shade.
