TAKATA MINI I-SIZE
Adjusting the carry handle position
[MINI_I-SIZE_017] The carry handle of the TAKATA
MINI I-SIZE can be set in three different positions:
A. Carry position
B. Vehicle position
C. Access position for putting children in and taking
them out of the seat
Step 1 – Unlock the carry handle
[MINI_I-SIZE_018] To adjust the position of the
TAKATA MINI I-SIZE's carry handle, simultaneously
push in the grey levers on each side of the handle as
far as they go. This will unlock the handle.
Step 2 – Adjust and lock the carry handle
Keep the levers depressed, and at the same time, move

the carry handle into the desired position. Release
the levers when the handle is in place. The handle is
securely locked in when both levers make a click (in
carry position and vehicle position only) and the levers
return to their starting position.
CAUTION!
Whenever you change the position of the carry handle,
always check that it is locked into place. To do this,
lightly push the handle back and forwards with your
hand, without pressing down on the levers.
Carrying the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE
There are two options when carrying the TAKATA
MINI I-SIZE outside of your vehicle.
[MINI_I-SIZE_019_a] You can hold it with your hand
in the middle of the carry handle, keeping your arm
slightly bent and the TAKATA MINI I-SIZE by your side.
