Fuel Gauge Battery Packs (Fig. 13)
Some D
WALT battery packs include a fuel gauge which consists
e
of three green LED lights that indicate the level of charge remaining
in the battery pack.
To actuate the fuel gauge, press and
hold the fuel gauge button (BB). A
combination of the three green LED
lights will illuminate designating the level
of charge left. When the level of charge
in the battery is below the usable limit,
the fuel gauge will not illuminate and the
battery will need to be recharged.
NOTE: The fuel gauge is only an indication of the charge left on the battery
pack. It does not indicate tool functionality and is subject to variation
based on product components, temperature and end-user application.

or bystanders.

filter mask if the operation is dusty. Use of gloves, long pants and

substantial footwear is recommended. Keep long hair and loose
clothing away from openings and moving parts.
1. Press the battery-selection button
(D) on the left or right. The side
marked "I" activates the top battery
port. The side marked "II" activates
the bottom battery port. The center
position "O" deactivates power
from either battery port. (figure 14)
2. Depress the variable speed trigger
(B).
3. Release trigger to turn blower off.
Use (Fig. 2, 15)
Hold the joystick with one hand as
shown in figure 15 and sweep from side
to side with the lower tube (E) several
inches above the hard surface. Slowly
advance keeping the accumulated pile of
debris in front of you.
Speed Lock (Fig. 2, 16)
Your blower is equipped with Speed
Lock for continuous use without needing
to hold the trigger.
1. Pull the variable speed trigger (B)
until the blower is performing at the
desired speed.
2. Press the Speed Lock button (C)
and let go of the trigger as shown
in figure 16. The blower will maintain
that performance level.
