Preparing the multifunction tool
CAUTION! Risk of injury from
moving parts! If you switch on
the multifunction tool accidentally
there is a risk of injury from the
moving parts. Always remove the
multifunction tool from the power
supply before attaching the
accessories.
Mounting the handle
Screw the handle (7) on to the
multifunction tool (see Fig. C). Make
sure you attach the handle on the left
for right-handers and on the right for
left-handers.
Connecting the dust extraction device
1. Fit the extraction duct (8) on to the
back of the multifunction tool with the
help of the retaining clips (4) (see
Figs. B and L). Make sure that the
extraction duct is seated correctly on
the power tool.
2. Fit the extraction adapter (10) on to
the connection nozzle (9) (see Figs. A
and D).
3. Connect a suitable suction device
to the extraction adapter (e.g. a

workshop vacuum cleaner).
Mounting tools
Attach the following tools depending on
the intended purpose:
CAUTION! Risk of injury! There is
a risk of injury if you do not
attach the tools correctly and your
hand comes into contact with them
while using the tool. Attach the tools
so that they cannot come in contact
with your hands. e.g.: Do not let the
blades point towards your hand.

Plunge-cut saw blade

Typical application: Cutting notches,
chases, openings
1. Place the plunge-cut saw blade (14)
on the tool mounting socket (5) at any
angle (see Fig. K).
2. Place the washer (13) on to the
plunge-cut saw blade with the domed
side facing up.
3. Tighten the hex socket screw (12)
with the Allen key (11).
Segment saw blade
Typical application: Flush trimming of
installed door frames
1. Place the segment saw blade (15)
on the tool mounting socket (5) (see
Fig. K).
2. Place the washer (13) on to the
segment saw blade with the domed
side facing up.
3. Tighten the hex socket screw with the

Allen key (11).
