TRANSMITTING THE MODE TO THE TRANSMITTER
The transmitter will be configured in three steps.
Step 1) Transmitter recognition: The handheld device reads data such as the IMEI number with names, and the transmitter's
software and hardware versions (1). If the transmitter's battery is discharged completely, this process can take a few minutes.
Step 2) Selection mode: Using the directional key (2), select the desired mode (3) and confirm by pressing OK (4).
You can check and change the settings of the desired mode. Confirm by pressing SAVE and/or NEXT (5).
Step 3) GPS calculation: If you have set the Radius monitoring to active in the mode, you need the handheld device's GPS
reception. This is necessary for determining the current starting/reference point.
INFO: The starting-/reference point is determined at the location from which the mode / data transfer from the handheld
device to the transmitter takes place.

With consecutively completed steps, the mode/data transmission occurs automatically in the transmitter. Please observe the message on the display
„Transmitter configured successfully". At the same time, the status of the transmitter's battery (6) is displayed. The transmitter can now be disconnected
from the handheld device and be activated with the magnet integrated in the handheld device (see section Activating the transmitter).
ATTENTION! After transmitting the mode to the transmitter you should not make any more changes to the Time zones dialogue box.
The messages sent by the transmitter would then no longer be chronologically synchronous with the handheld device.
This could possibly lead to time-delayed reception and even lost messages.

Hold the magnetic switch (2) installed in the transmitter against the magnet (1)
located in the handheld device for approx. 1 second.

The transmitter then flashes for approx. 40 to 60 seconds. During this time, the transmitter
attempts to receive the necessary GPS signal. Select a location which gives you an unrestricted
all-round view of the sky and which is not hindered by high buildings or trees. It is recommen-
ded that you hold the transmitter with the antenna pointing towards the sky.
When the transmitter has received at least four GPS satellites within this 40 to 60 seconds,
the LEDs will turn off.
The transmitter is now ready for use!
If, after 60 seconds, the GPS reception is less than four satellites, the LEDs turns
to a steady light. The steady light goes out after three minutes.
The transmitter is not ready for use!
If this occurs, please deactivate the transmitter and reactivate it.
Only allow the falcon to fly when there is guaranteed GPS reception.
NOTE: Before each flight, be sure to check the transmitter's battery status, this should always
be fully charged. A battery which is not fully charged will lead to a restricted number of
messages being transmitted.
