DIP 2 PROGRAMMING TIMES (POINT D)
OPERATING MICRO-SWITCHES
DIP 3 photocells always active (oFF) – photocells active only when closing (oN)
DIP 4 pre-blinking (oN)
DIP 5 pause time before the automatic closing (oN)
DIP 6 Facilitation for the electric lock release system (oN)
S2
Functioning selection for 1 or 2 motors. if you want the functioning just for one motor,
cut the trace.
Every time you change the position of the dips (excepting Dip 1 and 2), connect the rEsEt
jumper for at least 1 second (this procedure can also be carried out using a screw driver).
the rEsEt you carried out is shown by the simultaneous activation of the blinker.
C - CHECKING THE ROTATION DIRECTION OF THE MOTOR
this check is intended to facilitate the installer when fitting the system or at any possible
future control.
1 - release the motor and move the gate to half open position;
2 - put Dip 1 in the on mode => the LED DL2 starts blinking;
3 - press the proG button and hold it (the gate now is controlled in a dead man mode:
open, stop, close, stop, open) => tHE rED LED DL3 and the DL5 "cLosE" come on
and the gate starts closing. the second leave closes two seconds after the first one. if
this does not happen, invert the wires of the motors V1,W1 and V2, W2);
4 - press the proG button and hold it => tHE GrEEN LED DL4 and the DL6 "opEN"
come on and the gate starts opening. the two gate leaves will open with a two second
difference;
5 - Adjust the mechanical stoppers in opening;
6 - press the hold the proG button until both gate leaves reach the completely close
position and are now ready for the "timing programming";
7 - set the electrical limit switches if provided;
8 - When the check is finished, position DIP 1 back on mode OFF => the LED DL2
turns off, signalling the exit from the checking mode.
NB: During this checking procedure, safety strips and ´fotocosta´ units are not
activated.
ELECTRIC TORQUE-ADJUSTER
the torque is adjusted by rotating the torQuE trimmer.
if you rotate it clockwise, more torque is applied to the motor.
so to give the max. pickup to the motor when it starts, torque adjusted with the trimmer is
automatically applied just 3 seconds after the beginning of every operating cycle.
D - PROGRAMMING TIMES
the programming must be carried out when the gate is closed.
1 – position the Dip 2 on mode oN => the LED DL2 emits some short blinkings
2 – press button proG. => the leaf M1 opens.
3 – At the end of the opening cycle, wait 2 seconds and then press button proG. to open
the leaf M2.
4 – At the end of the opening cycle, wait 2 seconds and then press button proG. to start
the count of pause times before the automatic closing. (you can set it as you want, with
max. 5 minutes – excluded by Dip 5 on mode oFF)
5 – press button proG. to command the closing of the leaf M2.
6 – press button proG. again to command the closing of the leaf M1 and then determine
the phase difference of the leaves (the LED DL2 turns off).
When the gate is closed, the procedure is terminated.
7 – AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMMING, POSITION THE DIP 2 ON MODE OFF
AGAIN.

FUNCTIONING OF OPERATING ACCESSORIES
JOGGING OPERATION BUTTON (COM - K BUTTON – with timer function)
it cyclically gives the commands open-stop-close-stop-open-etc.
TIMER FUNCTION
this function can be useful in rush hours, when vehicle traffic is slow (e.g. entry/exit of
workers, emergencies in residential or parking areas, and, temporary, for removals).
APPLICATION MODES
if you connect a switch and/or a daily/weekly timer (at place or in parallel to the opening
button N.o. "coM-K"), you can open the automation and keep it open as long as the switch
is operated or the clock is activated.
When the automation is open, all operating functions are inhibited.
if the automatic closing is selected, the automation immediately closes when the switch is
released or at the time previously set; if not, you need to use a command.
it cyclically gives the commands open-stop-close-stop-open-etc.
pause times before the gate automatically closes are stored during the programming
procedure for the times.
the maximum pause time is 5 minutes.
the minimum pause time can be enabled or disabled using Dip5 (oN enables).
FACILITATION FOR THE ELECTRIC LOCK RELEASE SYSTEM
DIP 6 ON - Enabled (not carried out in systems with electric limit switches)
When the opening impulse is given, the lock is activated and the motor/s first close/s for 1
second, then stop/s for half a second and eventually start/s again in the opening mode.
OPERATION AFTER BLACK-OUT
When mains electrical power is restored press the opening button (K, opEN, radio).
the gate will open.
Let the gate close itself with automatic closure or wait that the flasher
stops blink first to command the closing movement. this operation is valid to obtain the
leaves position readjustment.
During this phase all safety devices are active.
SAFETY DEVICES FUNCTIONING
PHOTOCELLS (COM-PHOT)
If DIP 3 is on mode OFF - if an object is within the range of photocells when the gate is
closed, the gate does not open. When the automation is active,
photocells work both during opening (resetting the motion into
the opening mode after half a second time), both during closing
(resetting the reverse motion after one second).
If DIP 3 is on mode ON - if an object is within the range of photocells when the gate
is closed and you command its opening, the gate opens (the
photocells do not operate during this opening cycle). photocells
operate only during closing (resetting the reverse motion after
one second, even if they are still engaged).
NB: If two couples of photocells or more are connected together, connect all
transmitters and receivers to the power supply D+/D- and connect the terminals
COM-PHOT (8-10) in series.
PNEUMATIC MECHANICAL OR ´FOTOCOSTA´ SAFETY STRIPS (COM-EDGE)
the connection of safety devices depends on their very location in the system.
if you want to protect the action range of your gate during its opening and closing cycles,
connect the safety strips to the terminals coM-EDGE.
When the safety strip is activated, the automation reverses its movement direction.
NB: This electric control board can feed ONLY BLINKERS WITH BLINKING CIRCUIT
(ACG7010) provided with max. 40W lamps.
if the safety devices operate during the movement, the blinker continues to function.
PRE-BLINKING FUNCTION:
if Dip4 is on mode oFF – the motor and the blinker start simultaneously.
if Dip4 is on mode oN – the blinker starts 3 seconds before the motor.
