For the installation of the
DRYPOINT M PLUS membrane dryer,
®
observe the direction of flow of the com-
pressed air (see arrows on the housing
cover).
4.3 Installation of purge air shut-
off

Electric power
Contact with non-insulated pow-
ered parts might cause electric
shock resulting in serious or even
fatal injury.
Preventive action:
• Strictly comply with all statutory regu-
lations regarding electrical installations
(e.g. VDE 0100/IEC 60364).
• All electrical work must be carried out
by suitably qualified and authorized per-
sonnel.
• Adhere to the permissible supply volt-
age specified on the type plate.
• Before installing the purge air shut-off,
de-energize the device.
• To shut down the power supply, install
a suitable power switch or plug near the
device, which disconnects all phases.
Additional safety instructions:
• For installation and operation, always
strictly adhere to the applicable statuto-
ry safety regulations and standards.
• To ensure trouble-free operation, use
original spare parts.
For the connection to the power mains,
choose cable that is suitable for the power
load and the actual site conditions.
1. Loosen the screws (7) and pull the cou-
pler socket from the solenoid valve.
2. Remove the contact insert (2) from the
cap (6).
3. Unscrew the union nut (9) and the gas-
ket (8).
4. Feed the cable through the union nut (9)
the gasket (8) and the cap (6)
5. Connect the wires as shown in the di-
agram:

6. Insert the contact insert (2) into the cap
(6).
7. Firmly tighten the union nut (9) and the
gasket (8).
8. Insert the flat gasket (1) and tighten the
screw (7).
