Individually adjusting the espresso quantity: If you would like to make a triple
or quadruple espresso, hold the Espresso button down for approx. three
seconds until the LED indicator (2) blinks. This way, you can individually
adjust the quantity of espresso. ATTENTION! The espresso dispensing
process will not be automatically stopped: Push the espresso button
again to stop dispensing espresso!
8. Wait until espresso has stopped coming out of the espresso spout (18) and the LED in-
dicator (2) is continuously illuminated. You can now remove your espresso. NOTE: You
can interrupt the brewing process at any time by pushing the Espresso button again.
9. Always switch the device off and disconnect the mains plug from the socket if you
are not using it.

Making cappuccino

1. Prepare the device as described in the chapter "Start-up".
2. Check whether there is enough water in the water tank (13) and enough milk in the
milk tank (7); fi ll them if necessary.
3. Choose whether you would like to make a single or double espresso and select a
suitable fi lter (14+15) that you insert in the fi lter holder.
4. Fill the fi lter holder (19) with espresso and insert it in the device.
5. Select a suitable cappuccino cup and place it on the cup grate (9) under the espresso
spout. If necessary, use the raised cup grate (10) when using a small cup.
6. Set the milk nozzle (6) so that it points directly into the cup!
7. Use the milk nozzle adjustment mechanism (5) to set how much frothed milk you
would like to use. Turn the knob to the left for only a little milk and to the right for a
large quantity of milk. You can adjust the milk nozzle adjusting mechanism any time
during the brewing process.
8. Use the On/Off switch to switch the device on and wait until the LED indicator (2)
continuously illuminates.
9. Push the Cappuccino button once if you would like a single cappuccino and twice if
you would like a double cappuccino. The LED indicators on the Cappuccino button will
show whether you have selected a single or double espresso. The device will promptly
start the brewing process. The LED indicator (2) will blink during the brewing process.
10. Wait until no more espresso is dispensed from the espresso spout (18) and no more
milk is dispensed from the milk spout (6) and the LED indicator (2) is continuously illu-
minated. You can now remove your cappuccino. NOTE: You can interrupt the brewing
process at any time by pushing the Cappuccino button again.
If, after preparing your beverage, you notice that you need more frothed
milk, you can add more frothed milk to your beverage: To do so, hold the
Cappuccino button down for approximately three seconds until the LED
indicator (2) blinks. Frothed milk will be dispensed from the milk nozzle (6).
ATTENTION: The milk frothing function will not stop automatically!
Push the Cappuccino button again to stop the supply of milk.
11. Always switch the device off and disconnect the mains plug from the socket if you
are not using it.
