■ Take note of the fi lling capacities (that is, the MIN and MAX mark) for the milk tank
and the water tank! Fill the milk tank and the water tank at least up to the MIN mark
and no further than the MAX mark!
■ Never use the device if there is no water in the water tank!
■ Never add milk or other liquids to the water tank. Only use water to make espresso!
■ Do not overfi ll the espresso fi lters. Observe the MAX marks in the fi lters.
■ Never use the device unless there is a suitable container under the espresso spout
or milk nozzle.
■ Only use accessories included in the product contents or exclusively those recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
■ Do not place the device under cupboards or similar. It could be damage by rising
steam!
■ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong percussions.
■ Do not pull or carry the device by the cord.
■ Only use the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
■ Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe changes in temperature,
moisture, wetness or direct sunlight.
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. They could
damage the surface.
Hygienic notes
■ The device and accessories may have residues from production. To avoid health
risks, clean the device and all accessories before fi rst use. For this, observe the
cleaning notes in the chapters "Before fi rst use" and "Cleaning and storage".
■ Only use fresh drinking water. Do not use any water from a bath tub, sink or other
containers.
■ Keep the device clean.
