Operation on the sensor
operating panel
This chapter applies only to luminaires with
the model number DPP xxx/R. The model
number can be found on the cover at the
luminaire head.
Fig. 11: Sensor operating panel PIR sensors.
Switching the indirect light on and off
X Press the button I, see Fig. 11.
If you switch off the indirect light, it
does not have any direct effect on the
direct light. The light control remains
activated. LUM CONNECT MANAGE
controls the intensity of the direct light
if the intensity in the detection range
of the daylight sensor has changed.
The preset ratio of the indirect light
and direct light is tracked in the back-
ground. If the indirect light is switched
on again, the ratio is restored. The auto-
matic switch-on and -off of the luminaire
also remains activated depending on
the intensity in the room. The luminaire
switches off automatically if the inten-
sity of the daylight is sufficient.
Switching the direct light on and off
X Press the button II, see Fig. 11.
If you switch off the direct light, the light
control is deactivated. LUM CONNECT
MANAGE does not control the intensity
of the indirect light if the intensity in the
detection range of the daylight sensor
has changed. The automatic switch-on
and -off of the luminaire remains acti-
vated depending on the intensity in the
40
room. The luminaire switches off auto-
matically if the intensity of the daylight
is sufficient.
Dimming the indirect light
X Press the button I and keep it pressed,
see Fig. 11.
After about one second, the luminaire
will change its brightness.
X To change the dimming direction, press
the button again and keep it pressed.
This will save the set brightness. The
next time the luminaire is switched on,
the brightness saved last will be set.
The ratio of the indirect light and direct
light is saved. LUM CONNECT MAN-
AGE controls the intensity of the lumi-
naire in this ratio if the intensity in the
detection range of the daylight sensor
changes.
Dimming the direct light
X Press the button II and keep it pressed,
see Fig. 11.
After about one second, the luminaire
will change its brightness.
X To change the dimming direction, press
the button again and keep it pressed.
This will save the set brightness. The
next time the luminaire is switched on,
the brightness saved last will be set.
The ratio of the indirect light and direct
light is saved. LUM CONNECT MAN-
AGE controls the intensity of the lumi-
naire in this ratio if the intensity in the
detection range of the daylight sensor
changes.
This completes the recalibration of the
light control.
