Remove the fuel filter [(d) Fig. 26] and the joint [(e) Fig. 26] wich is located inside the fuel tank;
5.
Replace with new filter and joint;
6.
Replace the O ring and assemble fuel cock.
■ If fuel is spilled, wipe it off and let dry before starting the engine.
9.5. REPLACING THE FUEL PIPE
Replace the fuel pipes every 2 years or every 1500 operating hours [Fig. 25].
In case a leak is detected on fuel pipes, replace them at once.
NOTE
This operation should be performed by the dealer of by the nearest After Sales Service.
9.6. INSPECTION OF BOLTS, SCREWS AND NUTS
Tighten bolts and nuts when they are loose.
Make sure there is no oil leak.
Make sure there is no water leak on hydraulic fittings.

10. PREPARATION FOR STORAGE

□ There must be no water left in the pump for long periods of time. Deposits or minerals can settle
down on parts of the pump and damage it.
The following procedure must be followed before the pump set is stored for a period of 30 days or
more:
1.
Drain the water circuit (see 10.1.);
2.
Replace used oil with new oil (see 9.1.);
3.
Drain the fuel system (see 10.2.);
4.
Clean the pump unit with a cloth soaked in oil;
5.
Pull the starter cord until you feel a resistance (engine in compression allow to close the valves
and avoid oxidation) and leave the engine in this position;
6.
Store the pump in a well-ventilated, clean and dry place.
