□ Discard used engine oil in accordance with environment regulations. We recommend pouring
used oil in a closed container and taking it to the nearest recycling centre or to a service station
so that it can be recycled. Never discard in a dustbin, in the ground or in sewers.

9.3. AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE

NOTE
The air filter MUST remain perfectly clean. A dirty filter, caused by a poor fitting or a poor
maintenance, shall damage the pump and cause engine wear. The air filter must be perfectly
clean, at any time.
□ Do not clean the filter element with aviation fuel, petrol or heating fuel.
1.
Remove the holding wing nut [(a) Fig. 23] and the washer [(b) Fig. 23];
2.
Remove the cover of the air filter [(c) Fig. 23];
3.
Remove the filter and check it;
NOTE
The filter cannot be cleaned it must be replaced every 200 h.
4.
Clean the cover [(c) Fig. 23] and the filter body [(e) Fig. 23];
5.
Assemble in opposite order to remounting [(a, b, c, d) Fig. 23];
NOTE
Use only genuine parts.

9.4. REPLACING THE FUEL FILTER

■ Operation to be avoided in the vicinity of a heat source, open flame or other conditions that may
cause a fire.
■ Do not smoke.
Replace the fuel filter every 1000 operating hours.
1.
Drain the fuel tank (see 10.2.);
2.
Remove the two nuts from fuel cock [(h) Fig. 26];
3.
Remove O ring [(j) Fig. 26];
