8. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

□ This maintenance schedule gives only guidelines. In case of heavy duty operation (dirty or dusty
environment), perform maintenance more often.

Operation to perform
Control all the components listed in section «PRE
OPERATION CHECKS»
Check the tightening of bolts, screws and nuts
Check the oil level and top up if necessary
Replace the engine oil (following the 20 first
operating hours)
Check the air filter
Replace the air filter (following the 20 first
operating hours)
Control the fixing of the pump to the engine
Control the sealing of the connections
Drain the water, clean the filter and the tank of the
fuel cock
Replace the fuel filter
Replace the fuel pipes
Clean the carbon deposit from the cylinder head
and piston face
Control and adjust the valve clearance
Change the antivibratory mountings
Have the engine overhauled (if needed)
Check the check valves
Open the pump body and clean
Check the exhaust muffler
Change the oil filter (following the 20 first operating
hours)
Empty and clean the fuel tank
Check the engine speed (during the first use)
Check the engine compression
Check the fuel injection pump
Lubricate the pump rod bearing
Check and refill gear box grease
