Error messages may appear on the display of the
machine or the Web browser.
Self-diagnostic error messages appear in the following
cases:
• When scanning or printing cannot be performed
because of an operational error
• When you need to make a decision or take some
action while scanning or printing

When an Error Code Is Displayed

If a job or operation does not complete successfully, the
error code is displayed on the Details screen for Log on
the Status Monitor screen.
