desired number of judges (zero corresponds to 10
judges): the acquisition of the command is
marked by the visualization of the start-up
indications (see 1.4.1) for 2.5 seconds. The
display associated with the vote of the first judge
will show the letter "u." followed by the number of
the authorized judge;
release the 'ACQ' button.
The scoreboard will only activate the displays of
the authorized judges.

ALCULATING OF THE RESULT
With the 'Calc.mode' key of the 0 remote control it
is possible to set up the following calculation modes
for the final result, starting with the scores of the
voting judges:
[C1] total sum: sum of all the votes;
[C2] partial sum: sum of votes excluding the
highest and lowest votes (with two judges the
result is always null);
[C3]: total average: average of all the votes;
[C4]: partial average: average of the votes,
excluding the highest and lowest votes (with two
judges the result is always null);
[C5] average for artistic gymnastics: this always
requires 5 judges. The average vote [v
calculated between the votes of the first 4 judges,
discarding the highest and lowest votes; on the
basis of the average vote, the maximum
difference between the two votes used for the
average is checked, and the maximum difference
between the votes of all 5 judges. If these
differences are both within the foreseen limits
(see Table 1), the final result shown stays the
same as the average vote [v

OUNDING OF THE RESULT
With the 'Features' key of the 0 remote control the
rounding of the final result can be set up
beginning with the scores of the voting judges
(this function is particularly valid for calculating
the average):
[A1] one decimal digit;
[A2] two decimal digits;
[A3] three decimal digits.
In all cases of rounding off, if the first un-shown
decimal digit is lower than 5, the last shown decimal
digit remains the same, otherwise it is increased by
one [e.g. with rounding to two decimal digits (A2),
the number 5.724 is presented as 5.72, while
5.725 is shown as 5.73].
The rounding off requested is programmed by the
following procedure:
